Can I sign documents with the same qualified e-signature certificate?
Yes. Whether you sign on behalf of a company or as an individual or self-employed, just as a handwritten signature does, an electronic signature does not have to be different in the three cases. With a qualified electronic signature, you can enter into contracts and make statements on behalf of your company on the Platform without any physical or time limit. A qualified e-signature is also accepted by the court, and an e-signature registered in the company register is also considered a company-like signature.
What do I need to do to sign on behalf of a company?
The Qualified Electronic Signature looks the same in all cases, whether you sign on behalf of a company or as an individual or self-employed, just as a handwritten signature is no different in the three cases.
The exact quality of the signature should not be clear from the e-signature but from the content of the document. Therefore, if you sign on behalf of a company, the requirements for a company-like signature are:
- name of the company,
- the name of the individual representing it,
- and in what position it represents the company
be clearly included in the content of the document to be signed with a qualified e-signature.
